A Trip to Morriston Comprehensive School
On Thursday, March 13th, we had the incredible opportunity to enjoy a night at the theatre, as we attended the performance of Seussical the Musical at Morriston Comprehensive School. The evening was filled with vibrant colors, catchy tunes, and, most importantly, an unforgettable experience for everyone involved.
One of the highlights of the evening was the chance to cheer on two of our talented youth members, who took the stage in this whimsical production. Watching them perform with such confidence and passion was truly inspiring. They brought the characters to life in a way that captivated the audience, and it was clear how much hard work and dedication they had put into preparing for the show. Seeing their growth and development as young artists was a proud moment for all of us.

The performance itself was nothing short of fantastic. From the elaborate costumes to the energetic choreography, every aspect of Seussical was executed flawlessly. Speaking of choreography, we are especially proud to share that our very own talented Rising Stars Tutor Ace Abraham-Jones choreographed the entire show! She did an absolutely amazing job, creating intricate and fun routines that brought the production to life. Her dedication and creativity were evident in every step, and it truly elevated the entire experience. The cast and crew did an amazing job of bringing Dr. Seuss’s beloved characters to life, in a way that was both playful and heartfelt. It was a delight to see the audience so engaged, laughing, clapping, and singing along.
We would also like to extend a special thank you to all the volunteers who came to support the 'Stars' watching the production. Your presence made the experience even more meaningful for the performers and helped create a wonderful sense of community. It was clear that everyone was enjoying the show, and it was a great reminder of the power of theatre to bring people together.

This trip was not only a chance to celebrate the amazing talent of our young performers, but also an opportunity to experience the magic of live theatre together. It’s moments like these that help foster a love for the arts and create lasting memories for both the performers and the audience. We can’t wait for more experiences like this in the future!
Thank you to Morriston Comprehensive School for such a wonderful show, to the volunteers for your support, and to our amazing youth members for sharing their talent with us all. What a fantastic way to spend an evening — we look forward to many more adventures in theatre!
